Has anyone passed NJ vehicle inspection with painted front reflectors (or non amber/orange)?

Have had painted reflectors on all my cars since 2007, no issues.

Yeah NJ doesn't care about anything. Tints, no front plate, you're fine as long as you have the cats in and no CEL.

What if you have midpipes that remove the secondary cats. I'm assuming that passes inspection as well? Thanks

Correct, NJ inspection is concerned with emissions so that's all in relation to primary cats only. Secondary cats, resonators and mufflers need not apply.

So glad I just found this - I was going to get the AA EL midpipe but was going to wait a year until I got a new inspection (leaving OEM downpipes in).

I couldn't find any local or state site in north NJ, (including Newark) that would let me pass inspection with my tints.

NJ inspection stations don't care about tints. They're not there to enforce tints. I doubt they even have a tint measurement meter.

I've always heard this to be true, but doesn't apply to front tints. (They might've not cared for side tints) They asked for an 8x8 cutout on the front.

Edit: I have 75% front ceramic tints.

I always go through inspection on a nice day with all my windows down, nothing to see here just enjoying the nice weather.
