What the G81 Touring has got going for it - besides being an M3 - is that there are many die-hard fast estate enthusiasts with money who might be willing to overlook its ugly face just because it's a Touring version of arguably the best dual-purpose sedan/coupe. That automatically makes it cooler. And the xDrive system also makes more sense in the G81 than in other variants.

I think it does.

Though a regular G20 does look a wee bit better than an equivalent G21. There are some models where the wagon looked better than its sedan counterpart (e.g., E91, F11, C5-7 A6 come to mind).
