Thumbs up What has e90post.com helped you out with?

My question is simple; what has e90post.com helped you out with? I wanted to find out how other members have benefited from this wonderful site.

It's helped me...
  • Fix my sunroof without having to go into the dealer. Thanks to E90Fleet ...I think he's plugged into the Matrix and he sees everything in digital!
  • Get new after market wheels and tires.
  • Find the right tools for cheap to mount my wheels.
  • Get the best snow tires for the $$$.
  • Figure out how to go about getting a PROGMAN update that would fix countless issues and how to request it be done without hassle.
It's also helped me with countless other things as well as being a valuable resource for learning about my car and cars in general. I cannot imagine owning my e92 and not being a member of this forum. I'm on e90post.com almost everyday and I it!

A great many things. Too numerous to list - but most importantly is that I have made some genuine good friends, people I wouldn't know otherwise.

Last winter I was home recovering from cancer. This web site helped me keep my sanity, buy a 335i coupe 6mt sports, get some laughs, and learn about human nature. Thanks

This site helped me decide to:

1) Go for the bigger engine (love it!);

2) Get the Lemon interior... it is not that hard to keep clean;

3) Get blacklines because it is an inexpensive way to fix the one thing wrong with the exterior design of the car;

4) Get a specific winter wheel/tire package;

5) Avoid the initial dealer prep (kudos to Picus for a great job there); and

6) Do my own OCB-type car washing in the summer.

It is great to get on this site and see there are so many people with a shared passion for their cars and great knowledge they are willing to post for the benefit of others.

It's caused me to become addicted to checking it ALL THE TIME!! Infact I've had it set to my browser home page for at least the past 2 years.

Seriously though, the step by step instructions for the oem strut brace and split armrest install were invaluable, along with a multitude of other little things here and there.

It provides me an outlet for my E90 addiction. Not to mention the friends I've met, 162 rims I've fixed, help picking snow tires, detailing products, and on and on.

It was the best place to alleviate the pre-delivery anxiety.
