xi or i with lsd
if you had chance to buy new BMW. would you get e92xi or
e92i with LSD? cost is the same xi is $2000 more and to instal LSD is $2000 witch one would you go with and why? |

I thought Quaife's LSD was around the 2-3k mark. Or was it 5k?

i thought the LSD was 3 grand not incl. install

LSDs are half the price of the actual install price itself.
I'd rather have the I + LSD...for some reason i don't think Xi on this car is as performance oriented as on an EVO or STi. Not sure if the tranny can withstand all the power if it's tuned

I think its around 3-4k when its all said and done to get a LSD installed (including parts). Of course it might be different on newer cars with welded open diffs from the factory. Its a bit confusing, I have been reading through those threads a lot lately as I wand a LSD as well.
