Lucy. in the Snow. for a D-Bag (Tanzanite/SS F80) - Edit

She is here.

Many moons after the trigger was pulled (ok, about 4…) Lucy is here, in Calgary, in my hands.

Below is an assortment of pick-up related photos, starting with:

Some pictures when she arrived at the dealership (worst photos in history, I know, but in my defence they were quick snaps, on an iphone, in the shade, of a Taznanite car, in December with a loooow winter sun). That is frost from the road covering up the shipping stickers.

Next are a couple of pictures my CA sent me last night after she was prettied up and ready for me….

Lastly are some more bad photos by me (at least in the sunshine this time).

Anyway, can’t talk now….out driving…….

Why don’t I let George and Paul play me out….

Congrats!!! As we were expecting, we got our cars about the same time

I did not let the dealer clean it up, so I picked it up last night and drove home with the German tags

It's a stunning colour, but surely a dark blue such as this is even worse than black for marks and swirls etc?

Does it ever look clean? Can you wash and dry without using detailing spray every time and then making even more swirls?

Option b) drive it and don't worry about it

Congrats! Looks like the dealer mounted your snows for you? How did you get the OE wheels home? I'm assuming that they don't fit in the car.

Awesome colour, congrats. Ceramic brakes are a must. The regular brakes are so small.

My dealer mounted my snows and then bagged my OEM ones for me. I put one in the trunk and the other three in the backseat. I covered the back seat with a heavy clean blanket though. No problem and no damage to the interior.

Yeah, dealer did that too. (actually, the CA even picked the winters up from the place i got them and drove them to the dealership....)

As for the summers, my buddy who drove me there this morning drove them home.

Thanks. Not CCBs though...just regular ole brakes. Enough for me - to the extent it is tracked I'll be fine with pads, etc.
