E92 Price differences in your country: 335i vs. M3

There has been a lot of discussion about the "value for money" when 335i and M3 are compared, so I thought it would be nice to know what the actual price differences for these two cars are around the world. After all the "value" has a lot to do with the actual price difference..

So here goes: your country's MSRP converted to USD, without any additional options. Let's see who wins the most and who loses the most! I go first..

Country: Finland
335i: 94 675,-
M3: 168 212,-

Difference 73 537,-

UPDATED SUMMARY LIST (USD): Please comment if there are some mistakes.

Think Walmart...

...BMW sells the most cars here so we get a bulk discount. (33 Million drivers in the UK...250 million here.)

335i: 66 200 USD
M3: 100 740 USD

Difference 34 540 USD

I'll throw in Norway aswell, prepare to be amazed..

Country: Norway
335i: 153 443 USD
M3: 252 548 USD

Difference 99 105 USD

Scary fact.. Someone just bought a Bugatti Veyron in Norway, imagine what that must have cost him.

avop: You serious about the M3 costing 168000 $ in Finland??

Hillstreet: Yes I am serious. It's due to our new Co2 based cartax system. More emissions equals higher tax percentage . At least in Finland there is very little value for money in M3 IMHO.

Angry 335 coupe vs M3 price

Country : Dominican Republic 335 US$ 90,000 M3 US$ 120,000 Remember that affordability is related to income, and this price reflects our superhigh taxes on cars. And I thought we had the most expensive BMW´s ? but now I know we don´t. Now if you combine that price with our almost 5 dollars a gallon of gas, the picture gets worse .

gas prices

5 USD A Gallon? Try 5 Euros gallon in Italy

Ans lets jump to (Country name)+tan or any other country with or near the oil region... gallon of gas goes down to like 10 cents...

It's more like $20k. The difference between the base models alone is already $17k.

I'd love to hear someone from Hong Kong chime in here. Some Asian nations have 200% tax which would put an M3 with a $70k US MSRP at about $210k

Before Delivery Charges the max you can pay for a 335 M Sport is £48,660 and for an M3 Coupe £59,300.

This assumes you tick every option box and with multiple options choose the most expensive one.

It doesn't include the cost of the "individualisation" packs under which you can choose non standard paint colours etc.
