important - power folding mirrors

does anyone think it is important to have power folding mirrors? along with the leather, electric seats, bluetooth, garage door opener, the reason why i want to get the premium package is because of the power folding mirrors. i know i can just fold the mirrors by hand, but i think it is a lot more convenient to fold the mirrors electrically since i have to park in tight spaces a lot.

For those of you without premium package, do u wish u got it since the package includes power folding mirrors?

It is definitely a nice feature that I use often. I like how they automatically open if you above 28mph. But it is not a necessary upgrade I doubt people would regret not getting it if they did not get ZPP.

It is useful if you park in tight places. I like how the mirror tilts when parking so you can see the curb.

It's a nice feature but not a must item. But occassionally when I folded the mirror after parking and start to drive the other day, I always forgot to fold out the mirror again. Without the power folding, you may need to leave the car and fold the the passenger side mirror manually. A little bit inconvenience I think.

Nice to have and I use it often actually but not necessary. Plus, just another thing to break further down the road.

It's nice to have when you park in tight spaces. Just push the button and they'll fold for you!

I love them, and use them every day. I fold when pulling into my garage just give more room when walking around the cars, etc. I sometimes use them when parking in a lot too to keep them from being bumped by doors or pedestrians.

I'm also a big proponenet of the ZPP, but don't know if I'd get the package JUST for the folding mirrors... but that's your call.

I do not live in a big city, nor do I have the power folding mirrors. But I would have to say that if my parking spot was that tight that folding in the mirrors would be required....I would find another spot to park in.

Agreed. I would find another spot as well. But once I found the spot I'd still fold in the mirrors. You never know who might park next to you or how close. Plus people do walk between cars when trying to find theirs.

Get the folding mirrors as there are no retrofit for them.

So how do you get out of the car if you're so close? Not trying to be an ass. Seriously, how do you get out if the space is so small you have to fold the mirrors? Are we talking tuck and roll here?

I got them with the premium package and thought they were just a curiosity, but now I use them every day. They're great when picking up the mail to make it easier to get close to the mailbox without damage on a dark night, and it's nice in the garage to leave more space to get around the car, and in tight parking spaces.

Right now, I don't care if they break, the car's got a 4 year warranty and I'd just get them fixed. 3,500 miles and they've worked fine every day so far. I'd buy them again.

I use mine every day when I pull in to the garage. That way my kids won't bump into them as as they walk past my car.

I wanted the power folding mirrors but wasn't willing to pay $1300 (or whatever the cost of ZPP was, minus the power seats; didn't care for anything else in ZPP) for it. I have now gotten used to just folding the mirror in my garage when I close the door.

I love the folding mirrors and use them everyday.
More room around the car while parked in the garage, nobody bumps them in a lot, and looks cool when you get in, press the button and your mirrors fold out. I got the ZPP for the mirrors, Bluetooth, and leather.

^^ I am usually one of the first to declare "repost," but I didn't realize you'd done a poll of this. Then I clicked on that link and see I already responded to your poll with "all the time." My memory is getting shot with my old age.

That's still true. I use them pretty much every time I lock the car ('06, so they fold automatically when locking with CA).
