is the door sill replaceable?

you know, the leather padded piece that has the hole for the door lock on a e90 sedan. my dumb ass tore a little hole in it

Not replacable. I heard about a guy who damaged his and the insurance company totalled the car.


But seriously, are you talking about the upper portion of the door panel? The place where your elbow goes when you drive? My guess is that you can get that part and change it out.

how did your butt tore a hole on the padding?

you have to replace the entire door panel, which will run you about 700 USD

i actually had a computer in the front seat not put in all the way and i closed the door and the corner of the box tore the hole

depending on how severe the tear is, you can try to repair it yourself with something like this
