should I lower or not?
I was thinking of getting the car lowered but Im not sure I feel like going through having to take them out when and if I return the car.How much better do you guys think it would look? Do you think it needs it badly? Im thinking it would make the vs7's look more aggressive on the car. I appreciate in advance any opinions. thanks

I say leave it the way it is....it already looks great and it's too much of a hassle when you return it. Use the money for mods.

Your car looks fine the way it is now, so why mess with it? I guess I just don't understand why people lower their cars. You get a harsher ride, have to worry about bottoming out, etc...

It would probably be around 200.00 to put in and another 200 to take it out.anyone else do coil-overs on a lease?

It looks OK, but I always like the no finger gap look.
I guess it depends on the streets around your area. I've never bottom out on my coilover. And I love the way the KW feels, from the first day I bought the car I knew that the sports suspension was too soft for my liking. Driving a lowered E90 with 19s is pretty easy compared to other cars where you have to aggressively angle in/out of driveways. |

No way!!! I really dislike the look of "slammed" cars, and it isn't like your car has an excessive gap to close. Keep it looking hot the way it is now!

I can't belive some guys on here like the look of fender gap. Personally, I despise it.
As long as you are planning on doing it the right way (ie. coilovers or a matched spring/shock combo) then I say go for it! In addition to improving your handling, I also believe that it is the next biggest cosmetic improvement that you can do after changing the wheels on your car. You are correct in that it will make your VS7's, as well as the overall look of your car, look much more aggressive. I just lowered my car on KW V2's and the ride is definitely NOT harsher than stock. If anything, the ride is now smoother, even with my crap stock RFTs still on the car. Once I put non-RFT's on the car I will be able to stiffen up the suspension a few clicks and it will feel even better, but that adjustability is another great thing about quality coilovers for this car. You can get the feel and height of the suspension exactly as you want it on your car. BTW, I love your wheels. They look amazing on your car.

If you want to close the gaps 2/3 inche more, get different sizes of tires on the next tire changes since you still have a little stretch left on tires. ex: 245/35/19 F and 285/30/19 R. I assumed your wheels are 8.5"/9.5". That's what I did with mine to keep the stock springs for quieter rides.
