335 mileage:17/26, M3 mileage:14/20
I posted the M3 mileage on the M3 forum and thought this forum would be interested in it from a 335 and 328 stand point.
http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/FEG2008.pdf Before anyone gets too excited here about the 335's mileage vs the M3's mileage, lets look at the 6.2 litre Vette with 436 hp and 428 lb-ft torque. It gets 16 mpg highway and 26 highway. Not too shabby. In addition, the Lexus 5 litre ISF with 416 hp and 371 lb-ft of torque gets a very reasonable 16 city and 23 highway. Interesting, isn't it? |

On average, i've been getting around 23-25 mpg, which I'm super happy about!

1 - I have averaged 21.5 - 22 mpg with city/highway driving.
2 - I have averaged 24.5 - 26 mpg strictly highway driving. Does anyone else see similar mpg's with mixed and none mixed miles? Just curious to see if I am on par with everyone else. Driving 335 coupe so you know I have stepped on it a couple of times here and there. I still find it odd sometimes that on 15.5 - 16 gal. per tank that I can only average around 345 - 360 miles on a full tank. Is this good or should it be better? thoughts welcomed. |
