Automatic curb-view rearview mirror function in REVERSE?

Does anyone know if the right side rearview mirror on the E92s automatically aims down to view the curb while in reverse? Do you need to get the premium package in order to get this function?

you need to move the mirror control button to the left side for this to work.
(on the driver's door, where you control the mirrors)

Even if you have it, the switch has to be on the left side to operate....

Well, on the E92s I can confirm that Premium is not required. Maybe power seats are required?

I was told that you will need PDC in order to have this option.
Haven't received my car yet so I can't confirm it, but my buddy doesn't have PDC on his e92 and it sure didn't have it.

No PDC on my 335 E92. The right mirror dips without PDC option.

E92 328xi - Power seats, no premium, no PDC and it works for me as advertised. Switch to the left: tilts down in reverse. Switch to the right: not tilting

You also have to manually adjust the position you wish the mirror to move to... if you have not done that, it is likely that the function is working and you just haven't given it another position to move to.

Did you get a manual?

I don't think this is correct. There's nothing in the manual saying this. As long as the switch is to the left, the mirror should active the curb feature in reverse if your car is so equipped.
