Fault code CC-ID 71

Does anyone know what this fault code stands for. CC-ID 71. I have a red service light and this code comes up when I press the column stalk.
I couldn't find a sticky with this info.

Does anyone have a list of all the CC fault codes.

I have a feeling it means new brake pads needed or bulb failure or electronics failure?

Thanks.

I took my car to a BMW specialist, as soon as he plugged in the diagnostic module the fault cleared. He coudn't find anything wrong with the car.

My front brake pads are due for change in 4000miles (suspect) but he said they were fine.

e90 cc-id 71 reset

Hi folks,

I just had my front and rear rotors, pads and sensors replaced, but the error doesn't go away. Will this go away in time or does anyone have a DYI to reset this error? I've googled it and can't find any reset DYI for this error.

Thanks
Ivan
