Jb4 Install -
hey guys, I wanted to know if there's someone who can install the jb4 for me I know most people did it as a DIY but I just don't want to mess anything up.
if you know anyone or know a shop that does it at a reasonable price please let me know I am also looking to get downpipes installed on 2008 335i coupe |

Follow their install guide it's pretty good. Everything else is easy as long as you have some basic knowledge of using tools and have the patience to take your time. It's a learning experience and one that you'll appreciate when working on your own car. I'd also help you with it, but it's freezing right now lol!! |

I agree with Zebra. Do it yourself man. Great learning experience. Ask a friend to borrow their garage if you don't have one to work in. Such a satisfying experience doing it yourself. It is really hard to mess up.
had an odd experience though when I did mine. Bought a used one off a 1 series member and he didn't do the wiring properly on the harness. Once I fixed that, it was a breeze. Just have a laptop/tablet open with the pdf guide in front of you. Just be patient your first time around. After doing it once, you'll be able to repeat the process in 20 min. Yes, it is bloody cold outside. |

also if anyone can chime in on what's the proper steps of making the 335i into a m3 killer lol jb4 - downpipes - intake - chargepipe - FMIC - what else |

I installed mine about 2 weeks ago. It wasn't that big of a deal...just reference the video and the manual BOTH (as one of them leaves out a step or two.)
Another reason you should DIY: Once it's installed and you WOW your friends after you take them for a spin and your friends ask you who did the install for you, you can say "I did it myself." (I did also tell them it was Plug-n-Play and not that hard of a job.) |
