July production

Looks like our next allocation for most models will come down on 6/3.

Not completely certain that M models will be included in that allocation, but I'm guessing they will.

People in the 2-4 range(depending on how many M2s your dealers are getting) on their respective waitlists should be able to get their production numbers in early June!

Good luck to everyone

Good Morning CADK,

Any update on June production? Are they still moving as per schedule?

I'm in Week 24, starting on June 5th and the production date has not changed.

Week 24 is actually starting June 13th, that's the same week my production is scheduled. I was actually just about to call BMW Genius and ask for an update. When's the last time you checked yours?

Sweet!

I am number 3 on my dealers list now. Maybe even 2 now (have not checked in for our a month now). Originally I was number 4.

Glad to here this.

Hard part for me is choosing between a LBB or AW. I have not seen a AW in person yet. I need to go to the local cars and coffee meet and see if there will show up.

Anyone in Orange County California with a AW I can check out???

A little investigating has revealed that everything week 23 and earlier is showing in 112 status.

Everything week 24 and later is in 111.

I'm guessing that all the production still showing 111 will be moved to MY2017.

I can't confirm this, but this is what I am conjecturing will happen given the available info.

Just called BMW Genius, my week 24 build is indeed status 111. Not feeling good about this, I guess I'll be getting a 2017.

Interesting. The genius who answered my call said she couldn't see status when I asked her if it was 111 or 112. I'm still showing Week 25.

Yes! I have a production date of week 23 was told today my car is now status 112. Called BMW genius (844 #) and they told me they don't go by status #'s anymore.

Just got off the phone and its still scheduled for Week 24, and according to him, the production start for week 24 is June 6th. He has also confirmed that if you have a production number for MY16, your call will be a 2016. God knows ...

There is one car that is curiously showing status 105 "production week unavailable."

I'm hoping this will be an example of a car moved to 2017, and every accepted order is just filled as a 2016.

I'll update with info as it comes down.

BMW Genius said that he doesn't have access to the Production Status Number. I've contacted my CA and will update as soon as I get a response.

Thanks a lot .. I'll be disappointed if my MY16 production gets moved to MY17.

CADK, do you know when the factory is shut down for summer break and if ED will be available during this time frame?

It's OK. I know a guy who knows a BMW Genius who just had a BMW product rep out and the rep hinted that BMW, "heard the voice of the entbusiasts" and they will be adding a CF roof on the 2017s.

Good things come to those who wait.

That would be AWESOME news: the best info since I put my deposit in Nov-2015.

Can anyone confirm this yet... please!!!

Believing that kind of change would come out of the blue is akin to believing in Santa Claus.

If that's true, make sure a BMW technician rides over on his unicorn to swap my roof since mine didn't come with one or a sunroof.

Plus I'm pretty sure more people were complaining about those non M mirrors over cf roof.

For those in Canada: my GM and SA are both being stonewalled by BMW and not given details on what is happening to us Canadians with production numbers and assigned weeks in June.

Will keep everyone updated as we hear more.

Again, bad job of BMW Canada to manage expectations and keeping their dealer network updated...

Yeah I'm pretty pissed. I told them I need info by end of week or I walk, tired of this bullshit.
