Time from production number to production date?

I received my production number about 10 days ago, still waiting for a production date. For those who ordered and have production dates or already have their cars, how long was it between assignment of the production number and assignment of the date?

I am pretty sure my car will be an August or September build because BMW accepted my request for Apple Carplay which the order guide says is only available for build dates of August or later but that doesn't keep me from calling the BMW number to check status everyday.

Can be days but also months with BMW these days... I got my production date as soon as it went to 111.

As soon as my dealer got an allocation last week I placed my order and it immediately went to 111 status, at which point I was provided with a week 32 date.

I have been sitting at 111 for 10 days, your first week of August so my August theory might not pan out for me. I do know that the allocations were given for production dates for July, August and September so the latest my car will be built is September. I might talk to the rep next time instead of just listening to the recording and see if there is any info available at all.

Did you get a VIN right away also? I don't have mine yet either.

If you have a production number, you have a production week. Simple as that.

Ask your SA for your production week and you'll know.

Your VIN will come 1-2 weeks before your production week, which is actually your EOP date.

As for me, production number in February, week 24 build, week 28/29 delivery.

I got a production number in April. My car finished production June 11. It's currently on the boat. Good luck!

Call the genius hotline and ask them. I'm sure you have a production week. You're going to be at 111 for at least a few weeks, given the current schedules. You'll see it change to 112 and then to 150 about two weeks prior to the production week.
