Item Interest
Serial #3402341212 is a Valentine V1 with hardware 1.85 which includes ESP. The software version is 3.8945 which is the newest available with Junk K-Fighter, Extended Euro mode for K-band down to 23.900Mhz.

I pre-programmed this unit using a V1 Connection to improve Ka band performance. This unit has custom sweeps for 35.5Ghz and 34.7Ghz which are extended well beyond the boundaries to cover any out of tune radar guns. The 33.8Ghz radar band is covered by Euro mode. The unit also has Ka Guard Turned off. This will improve the sensitivity on this unit greatly. When the unit is powered up it displays a "C" to indicate it is programmed for custom sweeps. I also tested the unit against 34.7 & 33.8 radar bands and it is working perfectly.

I tested the unit against 2 radar guns which I own. Stalker ATR 34.7Ghz (calibrated to 34.757Ghz) and my Bushnell K-Band 24.150Ghz Radar Gun. It detects both very quickly. I can't pull the trigger fast enough on the Stalker ATR for the V1C to miss a shot.

The sale includes, the V1C (Pre-programmed custom sweeps), New coiled power cord, suction cup mount bracket, and the lighter adapter.

Price is $370 shipped, and I stand behind this unit and its performance on radar bands. I can customize it any way the buyer likes, but I believe the way I have it setup it will perform really well.

So is there a difference in the hardware/software from this unit and a new one that is a 1.86 version?

None. They just changed components to ease manufacturing. If there was an update they usually charge a fee and describe it in detail.

Copy + Paste from V1 website:

UPGRADE PROPOSAL FOR YOUR

Serial Number 3402341212
No upgrade is being offered to this serial-number range because it is functionally equivalent to that of current production though some internal components have been changed to ease manufacturing.

I have at least 4 units (different models) for my personal use. It's a hobby of mine.

I have 2 radar guns so I usually buy and sell every so often. I am not the original buyer for these but I do have contacts that find units for me time to time. The unit I have should be available very soon. PM me if you want to check it out!
