Nice review. Hell, I'd take one on a three-year (lease) fling, reliability be damned. Except for the lack of a MT...really disappointed in that. I'm sticking to MT as long as I can (which admittedly is not long for new cars at least).

you find that "pretty even" ?
I find the Giulia-Q spanked the M3 pretty hard on acceleration

LOL, watched the Carlos/Jonny video. They say the complete opposite, they talk about how spacious the Alfa is.
MT video cliff notes. Carlos: has grunt of C63, chassis/handling of ATS-V, interior ergonomics of M3. Jonny: his new favorite car in the segment, surprised him. Last edited by DieGrüneHölle; 12-31-2016 at 11:45 AM.. |

I just don't think the exterior or interior is all that great. I want to like it but it just doesn't grab me.
Performance is great but really will you notice in spirited street driving if the car gets to 150 mph a second faster? At this level of performance the looks of the car have to speak to you or it wouldn't matter to me. |

the rear end looks good.
that gigundo triangle grill just kills the front looks. horrid. MT seems always a fanboy. Light steering in this car makes it so "elegant" and playful. Yet light steering in another makes the steering seem artificial and devoid of feel. Make up your damn minds.

Chris Harris liked the Alfa but did not rate it above M3 nor C63.
I do agree with MT though - BMW is loosing its lead. Next gen M3 will tell.

Chris Changed his tune on his second, longer drive of the Alfa stating it's better than the m2 and M4 GTS, the presumably best M3/4.
