VPC on Non-continental Deliveries
Hi guys, I'm new to BMW and have a couple of questions regarding the delivery of my new LBB M2. My car was just released to carrier yesterday from production and is currently pending transport to port of exit.
I'm from PR, so I know my car will be delivered to the east coast, it will be unloaded on port, and re-loaded into a new boat and sent back east to PR for my delivery. My question is regarding VPC; will cars with final delivery outside of the continental USA (i.e. Hawaii and Puerto Rico), still have to go through VPC in continental USA, or is this something that is performed in my case at PR? If so, that will mean that my car will have to go twice through customs; before going to VPC and when it arrives in PR. Trying to figuring out how much more I have to wait till I get my new toy! |
