Brake boosting taillights?

Wasnt sure if this should go under engine or cosmetics so Im putting it here.

My roommated noticed while driving behind me that whenever I am brake boosting the brake lights will give off a different pattern. we tried recreating it but it only does it at a certain speed, rpm, or psi.. Does anyone have any insight on this?

Do you mean the brake force lights feature where when you brake hard or above certain speeds your lights are brighter and more elements light up compared to when you lightly touch the brakes at lower speeds less elements light up and the over all effect is not as bright and drastic?

No, he is referring to spooling up turbos to eliminate lag during a rolling start race.

My roommate said only certain bulbs lit up upon me brake boosting at certain times. Like only the outside bulbs were lit up versus all of them when braking normally.
