Hard to compare these two cars as they're so different.
If it was my money, I'd pick the; M4 CP DCT.

Apples vs. oranges. I own a cabio model of each car and they are very very different. I like some items on one over the other. Both are fun cars.

It' also very interesting to see cultural difference of what is a "good engine sound". When the German general public was asked to vote (by moving around the car of their choice) for the best sounding car, the M4 won by a slim margin.

Am I wrong in saying this is the wrong comparison? Shouldn't the M3/4 competition be pegged against the Z06 and not the Grand Sport?

This generation C7 vette in general is a horrible car. I would much prefer the Camaro SS 1LE.
C7 Grand Sport on the other hand is very nice. I would love to test drive one.

Huh?!

The C7 has been a great generation for the corvette. Sure the SS1LE is great car in itself, but to say the corvette is horrible is absolutely laughable. Driven in, rode, and chased on track a multitude of C7's and it's far from a bad vehicle.

Watched this video a few days ago and didn't do much for me. I've seen what the GS can do on track, a ZCP cant keep up with it unless we're talking drag racing or Road America.

This is German comparison, so prices in Germany need to be used, not US ones...

It wouldn't be a very enjoyable video for BMW fans to watch a head to head of the Z06 vs. the M4, and they're really not in the same market as each other either.

You can spec up a 440i to be more expensive than a base Corvette. Doesn't mean they should be compared. If the base Vette didn't exist? Sure. But the base Vette is so obviously a better choice of comparison it would make zero sense to compare to the Z06 just based on loaded price vs. base price.

Cabrio M4 is a compromised M4, 500 lbs of extra weight killed the M4 ‘experience’ for me. As much as I hated the cabrio, I love the coupe.

I agree with others. Not a fair comparison. Regardless of price in Europe, these are two totally different cars. I've owned both and it's not a fair comparison. The ss1le is a better comparison than the GS imo.
