I hate my color.
I'm so tired of Space Grey. Every time I see a sparkling graphite e92 on the road I seriously regret my decision. The reflections and the lighting just work so much better on the darker color.
Anyone else with Space Grey feel this way? It feels so bland...

I picked between graphite and space.. both with black leather. The graphite car had a couple more options (idrive, bluetooth) , So that was the real deciding factor.
Personally I love the color changing effect it has to it, I don't get tired of it that way. That even includes the purple hue in direct sunlight. People who see it seem to love it. Although, if I were to do it all over, it would be montego blue. Last edited by BMdblU; 05-18-2008 at 09:07 PM.. |

I'm considering space grey right now, and thats one of my fears; getting tired/bored of the color.

Damn...... Kinda glad I didnt go with space grey now... But everytime I see one all waxed up and shiny in direct sunlight I drool over it... Maybe its time for more mods for you!!! You may be getting bored with the car over all, and not just the color!

I love my tiag... it looks clean all the time.
I was set on getting montego, but after seeing how purple under certain conditions I decided against it. It must really blow to hate the color of your car though. BTW, you should post up a pic of your car since this is the gallery.

I like both, there isnt one I like better...I ordered space gray but ended up with sparkling graphite off the lot since it had more options and I got a better deal.
It kinda works out for me because my LR3 is Stornoway Gray which is very similar to space gray.... Basically I grays lol |

Sorry that you are down on Space Grey right now. For what it's worth, I think it's a pretty sharp color, and the fact that it works so well with some of the cooler interior colors, like Saddle and Coral, makes it all the more unique. I've got an E90 on order in Sparkling Graphite with black leather - but if Space/Saddle was an option on the sedan, I would've thought very hard about it.

its grey, its not exactly an exciting color to begin with. Give it a good detail with a quality wax or sealant too get the most out of your color. You will fall in love with it again.

I love Black Sapphire - but then again, it's hard work to keep it clean. I'm a switcher though, and if would buy a new car, it would definitively be another color!
Here's my list of cars and colors throughout the years: 1986-1989: 1975 Toyota 1000, Mustard 1990-1993: 1972 Ford Pinto, Sky Blue 1993-1994: 1986 Mazda 626, Burgundy 1994-1997: 1994 Ford Ranger, White (company car) 1997-1998: 1995 Chevrolet Lumina, White (company car) 1999-2000: 1999 Ford Taurus, Tan (company car) 2000-2001: 2000 Ford Taurus, White (company car) 2001-2006: 2000 Ford Explorer XLT V8, Tan 2006-today: 2006 BMW 330i, Black Sapphire I have also bought the following cars for my wife, which I drive often: 1999-2000: 1999 Daihatsu Terios, dark green 2000-2005: 1998 Mercury Villager, Tan 2005-today: 2005 Dodge Durango Limited (Hemi V8), Tan The best color in terms of hiding the dust is tan. The best looking car is my black sapphire BMW. The following pictures are not the actual cars, but internet pics I found (easier than looking for old pics) Last edited by martieg; 05-18-2008 at 05:24 PM.. |

The best looking e92 I've seen on the interstate that made my heart beat a little faster was sparkling graphite with coral red followed by titanium silver,E92's rear looks really good in silver.
