Let me tell you first off what the pros/cons are of an E93 and what you should get (IMHO). Pros: -Awesome feel with the top down, get to hear the full note of the exhausts from the twin bavarian turbos as they growl away -best of both worlds with a hardtop -doesn't feel cold in the winter like a soft-top (yet to experience this since we rarely have COLD winters in houston) -sun-reflective technology in the seats keep em cool (standard with the 335is, optional on the 328is) - Big smile on your face when you have the top down and punch it! (after break in period ONLY) - get crazy looks -SEXY, SEXY, and oh yeah, SEXY Cons: -not as fast as the coupe -you may get a fluttering noise around 60-65mph in the cabin with the top up -the chassis will creak when rolling down a driveway (this is due to it being a convertible as all verts do this) -hmm.....what else........nothing else that comes to my mind right now... Make sure you get the 335i if you want the dual exhausts, the full fury, and the fun! (not putting down 328i E93 owners here...) Okay, as far as the packages here it goes: GET sport (ZSP) you get the factory intercooler, and some other stuff (suspension, etc forget the rest) GET Comfort (ZCP) -this lets you have the key your pocket and also put the top up and/or down with the key fob NAVI - optional, I got it and love it! Navigation is useless, but I love idrive and the voice nav (say FM 97.9 changes, say Dial #, it dials... you get the picture - i love it) Premium - it's nice, but up to you if you want it, lumbar support and some other basic stuff, you can read all about it. Active steering - I got it, some people swear by it others say HELL NO - personal opinion drive a car with it and you'll see why. Active Cruise - it's amazing but at a hefty price - I didn't get it because well, it's over 2k for it! BUT you put your hands on the wheel and feet off the pedals and let the comp do the braking/acceleration for you...really good for LONG drives... other things the same, I think these are the most basic options? Ipod/HDradio/USB - same if you use em, it's nice, but it's $500 a piece for the options... I just use the standard AUX, but if you LOVE integration go for it! Colors: personal choice, I just got what I liked space grey coral red |

the hard top vert is a great looking car. especially if it snows where you live, then the hard top vert will withstand the winter weather better.

i, too, am thinking about buying an e93...
it's between the e90 or the e93. I feel like I need four doors for business...but I feel like I could get away with the two doors on the convertible because if I had a lot of crap to haul, I could put the top down, load up the back seat, and put the top back up (or leave down). easier to load than a coupe. thoughts???? what do you think the difference in my lease payment would be? assume both are fully loaded |

As for the loading, plenty of room w/ the top up and with the top down, not so much...BUT I fit 12 16x25x1 AC filters in the back with the top down |
