Lopsided Hood

Popped the hood and when I closed it, the driver side is definitely not sealing evenly. It is slightly lifted compared to the passenger side. Retried it and the same result. Could there be something I moved or jarred?

Check hinges, and maybe take some pics. might be able to see it better via pics

There are adjustments that can be made left/right, I'd assume there are screws/bump stops to adjust up/down as well.

When you're closing the hood, bring it down about half way and you'll feel the hydraulics start to let off, just drop it from there and your hood should close evenly.

Mine did that once when they closed it at ed actually - there is a latch at either side by the looks of it and one didn't seat all the way, dropped it a little harder and it worked.

That was it. The passenger and middle latch hooked. The driver side needed additional encouragement. Thanks.

i had the same problem but i opened it again and slammed it down harder then usual and even it became again.

It happened to me during colder weather...Brought it in and BMW adjusted it, I was retarded, could have done it myself lol.
