E92 335xi AT slamming the clutch?

I've noticed that my E92 in D mode seems to "slam" the clutch upon take off. I know that in D mode the E92 takes off in 2nd gear and if you floor it it downshifts. Recently, it's starting to feel the same way a manual car would feel if you shifted extremely fast. I don't remember feeling the slamming the 1st 6 months of ownership. Now I do feel it. How are your cars?

slam the clutch?? Don't you have an auto? uhh, we don't have SMGs...we have ZF auto trannies

If we had clutches, you wouldn't start moving when you let your foot off the brake - hence the torque converter.

I think you're referring to the late throttle response/lag?
