E92 335xi AT slamming the clutch?
I've noticed that my E92 in D mode seems to "slam" the clutch upon take off. I know that in D mode the E92 takes off in 2nd gear and if you floor it it downshifts. Recently, it's starting to feel the same way a manual car would feel if you shifted extremely fast. I don't remember feeling the slamming the 1st 6 months of ownership. Now I do feel it. How are your cars?

If we had clutches, you wouldn't start moving when you let your foot off the brake - hence the torque converter. I think you're referring to the late throttle response/lag? |
