Want Angel Eyes to come when unlocking Car

Hey wondered if anyone knows how to do this. When I first got my 2007 E92 coupe I noticed that sometimes when I would go to unlock it via the remote built into the key the angel eyes when come on. Lately this has not been happening and I was wondering how I can have the angel eyes come on every time I unlock the car. Any help would be much appreciated.

You need to leave your headlight switch set to auto for the angels to come on when you unlock the car.

This happens for me when I have my DRLs set to on and I don't need to have my headlight switch set to auto...

I think angel lights only turn on for mid 07 + E90's.. pre mid 07 E90s angel light do NOT light up when you unlock. Even in Auto or DRL on

Actually I figured it out.

You can only do it about 4-5 seperate times, I forget. Let me explain.

So say your car is locked. When you unlock it the angels will come on. Eventually they'll dim. You can relight them about four more times before unlocking them won't do anything anymore.

Also, I noticed that sometimes you have to hit the lock button first, then hit unlock. I don't know why but sometimes I have to do this.

mines is 10/06 build and it doesn't seem to have the feature. so it seems you are correct.

I know that the e90s post 03/07 build had this welcome lighting features.

I missed the magic date by a few weeks and don't have welcome lighting. I inquired with my dealer and BMWNA and they said if the car didn't come with it, it's not possible to get it.

there has to be a way to do this.. im thinking there is a module that controls the lights when turned on.. that can easily be ordered and replaced.. can someone look into this and find out what exactly controls that feature and how pre 07 march cars can get it?
