Battery keeps going low..anyone else?
My 2008 328i is only 6 months old and already I keep getting systems warnings that say that my battery low and is dying. Anyone else with same problem and what did you do?

My BMW sales associate told me to not use the automatic recirculating air function because they have had a lot of customers coming in with dead batterys.
So.... Shut off the recirculating function and see what happens... if no luck/difference, bring it to the dealer.. good luck |

"Here's a feature for you, but please don't use it because it will break your car." FWIW - mine has been on auto recirc for about 2 years, no battery issues. Sometimes, you'll have reduced battery life on a car used for infrequent, short trips. Make sure you get some highway miles on your car to keep your battery charge up.

i'm pretty sure i read in the manual about not using it when the battery may be weak. lol. the audi a6 was smart they put a solar panel on the sunroof to evac air. with all this high tech you'd think the car could like do a knight-rider and power down when volts drop or heck maybe even start up and rev a littlle to charge up the battery lol.

what makes you think your battery is low? does it crank slow or something? or does a battery warning come up in the car? i havent seen any issues with the recirc function yet?
