So I ordered the carbon fiber steering wheel trim to replace my peeling m sport wheel trim. I did not remove the air bag, I simply unscrewed the back with a torx bit and then used a small flat head to gently pull out the old trim. Putting the new piece on was fairly easy and then I used the m badge from my original trim. I have c.f. on the gear shift trim as well and it matches pretty well, I like it at least.

Very nice! I’ve got the same one, and carbon fiber shifter and ebrake handle. The three look great all together!

Looks like a good quality item....I've seen a few that didn't blend so well. Where did you buy it? My trim is starting to peel as well
