The E92 335i looks better than the E92 M3,IMO.

I mean what happened to the M3? The E46 M3 was a very capable car and looked stunning when introduced.Without a doubt looked and performed better than my E46 325i.
This new M3 front end looks hideous and the rear bumper looks like it came straight out of a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT.Are BMW fans delusional? Every time they see posted pics of the E92 M3 they act like it's an art masterpiece,I'm sorry it's not.I also hate the looks of the new Nissan GT-R.

If I'm gonna spend that kinda money on a car I want it to look special as well, like the old E46 M3.

A couple of years back,I used to be in awe every time I saw a Jet black or Imola red M3.Now when i see the E92 M3,it doesn't evoke any excitement. The new V8 sounds too American as well and the inside is boring.

Also what's happening with some of the colors,a silver that looks blueish,a blue that looks purplish...BMW dumped Imola Red,Mystic Blue for what reason?
Why not keep it simple and have a blue that looks blue all the time, and the Ladies at BMW in charge of picking leather and exterior colors can have a stand alone purple if that's what they like instead of having a graphite, blue etc. that might look purple at times.

Maybe I'm out of touch with with the current trend in car design but I like the Porsche 911 Carrera S design,BMW's CS concept,E60 M5,E90/92 etc.

What do you think?

They only thing i agree on is the colors. Make more traditional colors. And wtf is fox red interior. Why dont they have a coral red int in the M3?

Yea the e46 M3 had a powerful presence about it. Maybe because it looked much wider than a normal 3series. Cant say the same about the E92 M3.

Regardless, i rather have an M3 as i think it looks great. Plus the handling of it is far better than the stock 335i.

Only things i dont like... gas mileage, gas guzzler tax, and the fact that i dont own one.

Stock 335i looks WAY too bland. IMO

I prefer the M3 E92... more aggressive.... definitely the best M3 ever (forget the E30) and the best looking car under 70K$.

umm i added a m3 spoiler and a aero lip.... put some rims and i really cant say the M3 looks better at all. of course JMHO.

compared to the e46 m3 and a e46 330ci, there was a BIG gap there.

the GAP between the e92 m3 and e92 335i, esp with a piggy, aero kit, its just minimal in power and looks. of course for the track there is no comparison for that extra edge.

My only gripe about the new M3 is the stupid hood bulge. It looks too much. Otherwise, the car is perfect. A great combination of power, agility, and style. I think BMW learned from the M6 and made all the necessary improvements on the M3.

For another $3,000,you can get a better car performance wise that looks great and sounds amazing. I'm saving for a 09 plain Jane Porsche 911 Carrera.
The Porsche 911 really excites me the same way the E46 M3 did when it was introduced.
I test drove the current M3,it felt heavy and didn't sound great. It handled great tho but I want the whole package, looks, performance, excitement(sound, feel etc)....

The new M3 = much better drive than the e46 m3 also a much better car than the 335 coupe (is it worth the $$$ diff - we can argue this to death....and have). But I gotta agree on looks, I do think the 335 coupe is a much better looker than the e92 M3.

I too am shooting for a 911 in hopefully 2010, 2011. Porsche 911's are sexy and classy.... what can I say - I'm an ass man

I love the m3 sedan. I drove one that my cousin had from his dealer.Incredible car. Honestly its lacking a lot of torque and my car took it until we stopped at 100 by a nose. All I have is an sstt and a bmc filter. The m3 needs more power down low.It screams up top. The m3 still is one of my favorite cars.

I happen to really like the look of the E92 M3. I think that with a few mods (front lip/drop/wheels/etc) the car has the potential to look extremely good. The only thing that I don't like about the new M is the price tag.

I think everyone is use to seeing modded E46's now. Try looking at a bone stock E46 M3... its a nice car, but its pretty boring looking IMO.

Yup, I think you're crazy. E92 M3 is one of the best looking cars BMW makes. Especially with the CF roof, it is incredible. Better than the regular E92, which is beautiful but not as aggressive.

E90 M3 also looks great, much better than the regular E90. It's like a smaller E60 M5. But still not as gorgeous as the E92 M3.
