OBD does not connect at all

I bought a 2007 BMW 335I that lost its programming and i'm trying to repogram it and or diagnose it . Anyways, I tried connecting my OBD computer and it doesn't not connect. I also than tried connecting trough my bmw carly via iphone and the obd scan tool and that failed. The OBD port has power cause it lights the computer up, but i cant connect to ecu or any other modules. Checked OBD fuses and they seem good. Help me if you can. Couldnt find
anything online for this. Thanks
this is the first time its getting dignosed and programed because I bought it from anathor owner ..

ps. previous owner installed the JB4 but turned it off I don't know if that's the case you're not. and im not familiar with JB and its things.

sounds like the can bus is down.

start unplugging things and inspecting the harness.

I would completely remove the jb4, but maybe double check and see if it is on map 0 for an easy fix .

if jb4 isn't on map 0 it wont read.
