Hi Everyone,

We wanted to share some new product news from from CarBahn Autoworks! Steve Dinan and the team have just finished work on a set of flash tunes that are available now for modern BMWs and we have more applications in the works. The new Stage 1 tunes are available for F8x chassis (M3/M4), as well as F10, F12, F13 and F06 models (M5, M6 Convertible, M6 Coupe, M6 Gran Coupe), including Competition Package-equipped cars.

F8x owners can expect an additional 84 horsepower at the flywheel and an increase of 95 lb-ft of torque, for a total of 550 horsepower and 562 lb-ft of torque from the S55. The software will be selling for $1,750 with the tuner included.

F10, F12, F13, and F06 owners can expect 683 horsepower at the flywheel, an increase of 83 horsepower over stock while torque numbers jump up 112 lb-ft, giving the S63TU-powered cars 694 lb-ft of torque. An additional F10 tune has been developed for the Competition Package models. This flash tune puts out 67 horsepower more than stock and 101 lb-ft for a total of 694 horsepower and 694 lb-ft. of torque. These tunes sell for $2,250 with software and the tuner included.

We are now offering an option to buy software with or without a warranty. The price breakdown for the tune without the warranty is as follows:

• F8X M3/M4 - $750.00 for the software + $225.00 for the tablet (vs. $1500 and $1750 with warranty)
• F Series M5/M6 incl. comp pkg cars - $1000.00 for the software + $225.00 for the tablet (vs. $2000 and $2250 with warranty)

We are announcing a holiday sale, good until the end of the year. Software will be 15% off across the board. Flash tuner is exempt from the sale as we already are selling those at cost.

no hardware needed? only software? what boost level is used to achieve this? any other options on the tune such as differential or burbles, dct?

You won't need any supporting modifications and at the moment, we have one map that isn't adjustable. There will be additional stages added in the future that will need supporting parts.

It'd still void OE factory BMW warranty, but supposedly they'd match it similar to Dinan before - quoted from their site:

The numbers on your site are flywheel numbers not whp

Looks promising for future F82 & F83 owners. For comparison, my Aworkx stage II tune cost € 1,700 just for the bench flash during ED, so I will be going this route in 2 years it's an other F83 vs M8 for ED.

Be interested in a F85 tune also, as the OEM warranty is now backed for a $1,000 premium compared to the other flash tuners, but worth the price due to piece of mind.
