Steering Wheel Warning Light in RED!
Hi folks,
I have a 2007 335. Lately, I've noticed the push button start has been a bit delayed, but was not too worried. More recently, the RED (not yellow) steering column warning light is on. When it's red, the manual just says to call the dealership. I called the dealership and could only talk to a sales guy becaues service was closed. He said it could also mean the battery was low. Anyone heard of that? I'm taking it in on Monday. It's driving me crazy. I've already had to have the fuel pump replaced and the brakes went all squeaky on me at 15k miles. Thanks, London |

Steering wheel or steering column light? What light do you mean? I'm not sure I know what you're talking about.

I guess it means steering wheel. It's a padlock logo with a circle around it with a #1....the manual says steering wheel issue, but when I researched it on another section of this forum, the E series was having the same problem and they had to have their steering column replaced.
