Another completely pointless CarWOW drag race video: 6MT M2C vs DCT M4 in the wet . The track portion is only slightly more pertinent given the different transmissions. Entertaining nonetheless.

Stupid due to track conditions, but that’s the UK for you. Idk if the result would have been different in the dry, but his face when drifting M4 vs M2 says a lot. He almost looks bored in the M4. Would have been so much more valuable to compare in the dry.

i think you guys are being a little harsh..the reviewers mention everything you guys are flaming them on (auto vs dct, weather, etc etc). Nothing wrong with doing testing with bad weather; Top Gear/Grand Tour do timed laps regardless of the weather. (Super annoying when your favorite car has to do a wet lap, but it is what it is right?).

well, the wet pavement only affects the M4 not the M2.

It's not fair. You see, one must only test a car in the most of ideal conditions that is in a temperature controlled clean room like how spacecrafts and GTR motors are assembled.

Then under the most ideal conditions, you strap the car unto a dynamometer, set fan speeds to 70 mph and only shift the gears at precisely 7480 RPMs. Then the true nature of the DCT gear box can be compared to the 6MT with possible needs to extrapolate how gearing ratios and coefficients of drag may mathematically translate into track times.

The final part of the test consists of booting up the PS4 and testing both cars in the virtual environment to ensure no other variables can affect the outcomes of lap timing.
