Car & Key Memory

I know this topic has been discussed extensively in the past. However, I'm wondering if there have been any developments.

In pre-September 2005 non-I drive cars, is there any dealer retrofit available to allow selection of all car & key memory settings using the control display in the instrument panel?

The reason I'm raising this issue again is that I saw a TSB -- SI B 09 05 01 -- dated March 2006, which states: "There is no Car and Key Memory (CKM) available for E90 (3 Series), as "most of the CKM settings are customer selectable using the Control Display." The second page of this TSB discusses procedures for "Retrofits."

Wont ever happen since the Post september cars got a hardware change ( Junctionbox update. Junctionbox came out with the 1 Series so was already quite a few years old with E90 release)
