F82 M4 stolen from dealership with salesman hanging on to hood
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Video: https://www.cbc.ca/player/play/1870303299999/ Story: https://www.carscoops.com/2021/03/ca...for-dear-life/ A sales representative in London, Ontario recently had the worst sales experience of his life. Moe Alkaissy is lucky to be alive and in relatively good condition after being pushed onto the hood of a stolen car and driven onto a major city street. The ordeal started when Alkaissy, 23, was showing a clean-cut young man a BMW M4. The man asked the sales representative to start the engine so he could hear it. He then asked to take a call in the vehicle for privacy. Speaking to CBC, Mustafa Alkaissy, who owns the Sport Motor dealership, said that his brother Moe assumed the thief “had to consult his parents or something. It’s a big purchase.” In a Facebook post from the dealership, they also said that the key was not in the car. Once in the car, the suspect drove off, running into Alkaissy who said he was just hanging on for dear life. The thief drove onto one of London’s busiest streets, driving into oncoming traffic and even running a red light in an apparent attempt to shake the sales rep off the car. He then turned, shortly after which Alkaissy fell off the car. This is perversely fortunate, because Highbury Avenue, the street onto which the sales rep fell, continues onto the 401, Canada’s busiest freeway. “Watching it, I just think, ‘This could have gone wrong so many different ways, a million different ways,” Moe Alkaissy told CBC. “I can remember everything that happened, and I know in that moment, it was fight or flight. It was hang on to the car, or fall off and probably die.” The car has not yet been recovered, though the police and BMW were both notified. According to Sport Motor’s Facebook post, the car’s GPS showed that its last location was just north of Toronto, about two hours east of London. As for Moe Alkaissy, he is apparently having trouble walking as a result of a hurt knee and road rash on his feet but, thankfully, did not sustain life-threatening injuries. “We’re speechless,” said his brother. “For this to happen in broad daylight on our city streets, why do these guys think it’s okay to do this midday? Do they have no regard for anything or anyone?” |

Stupid. It's not his car. I don't understand why people jump on the hoods of a car and think they can hold on like a stuntman. Usually those stuntmen have a harness and are attached to the car so they don't fall off.

I don't think he jumped on it. Looks like he got hit and hesitated on the bail out until it was too late

omg. my heart sank when watching it. extremely traumatizing. I can't believe people are willing to kill just for something stupid. Moe is really lucky to be alive with relatively minor injures.

Everyone says watch out for BMW drivers, but the Audi is the one that almost ran him over.

Saw this yesterday too and was tempted to post it but got side-tracked.
Did you see how the salesman narrowly avoided being hit by a speeding car on the highway shortly after he was thrown? It barely missed him as he got up to run off the street. Attempted murder for sure. (At least the knucklehead has good taste in cars).

I guess that dealership doesn't make a copy of a drivers license before showing the car for a test drive?
This was a planned attack, white audi (thief's accomplice) follows them all thru the chase. Salesperson is young (we all did stupid dumb crap back when we thought we were invincible) so he probably did what he thought was right at that time, he was even trying to stop the audi at the end. I am glad he wasn't seriously hurt or killed |
