The alignment hole on the trunk is different, they cant accomodate both the F82 and F83.

Ppl that have retrofitted genuine OLEDs on a convertible had to enlarge the mounting holes on the trunk.

Not correct on f82 and f83 part. Parts are exactly the same.

Correct on oem oled lights need enlargement in both models. F82 and f83

These will not need enlargement, that's what I was told. Let's see in real life

To each their own, but I would never buy OEM replacement parts for cosmetic upgrades.

F30 aftermarket lci leds are dirt cheap for like 350, I'd pay 600 for aftermarket LCI leds for coupes. Also it's more like 1100 for OEM LCIs.

I agree about that but for diffusers spoilers lips the only issue is Fitment, which I can live with

But let's say your tail light goes out or you have an electrical issue then that's on the aftermarket company.. what if they're based in China? How are you going to hold a alibaba company liable or have them warranty your part

I've had a LED headlight upgrade fry a connector on my old Subaru, job was done by ton of ppl before on forums and YouTube video literally had 100k+ of views no issues but I still had to replace my $300 harness and it could've started a fire

Electrical pieces I'd definitely stick to OEM unless the company is very reputable

So, you correct me because someone told you that and did no research at all to verify it?

F82 use 63217443131 + 63217443132 for inner trunk lights LCI.
F83 use 63217426053 + 63217426054 for inner trunk lights LCI.

Theres DIYs that show OLEDs are direct swap on the F82 but the F83 need enlargement of the hole or cut off the pin...

All the vendors are getting these from China, just marking them up different amounts. No different to the vast swath of "replica" parts from countless vendors.

ULO list the inner LCI lights but not the outer yet and they're cheaper than the dealer, ULO make OEM tail lights.

Am I the only one that thinks that light upgrades are wayyy to expensive to be worth it? I just don't see the big deal with this mod, I wouldn't pay anymore than 80 bucks for this

Where did you hear/see the complaints about depo? Was it specific to the f8x lights, or in general?
