Wet floor on driver side floorboard

The floorboard of the driver side of my car has been getting wet every time it rains. I am not sure what is causing the floor to get wet but it only happens when it rains. Any idea what could be causing this? I haven't had a chance to look under the car but I'm assuming there could be some sort of crack or damaged part that's causing water to get into the floorboard. Any advice/help on the cause would be appreciated.

Check the lower windshield molding. There's a seal along the bottom of the window and the plastic/rubber cowl clips into that seal. If it moves, it can leak water. Even with a horrilbly dry rotted lower cowl, I was able to reseat it so it doesn't leak.

Another possible cause is the butyl sealant on the vapor barrier inside the door panels. Both of my doors had some spots that were dry where the sealant wasn't keeping the foam vapor barrier attached to the metal door. I was able to scuff it to reveal the sticky part and reseal the vapor barrier which fixed it.

If neither of those work, check your sunroof drains to make sure they're not clogged.
