Intermittent ABS warning
2007 E93, 30k miles or so ABS light comes on intermittently. Sometimes after a couple of minutes sometimes after 20 minutes... usually without touching the brakes.
I ve read a few threads about ABS issues but didn’t see any where the issue comes and go Any idea? Just got a Foxwell 530 but haven’t had a chance to try it yet |

There could be an issue with a few things:
Wheel speed sensors (1 at each wheel that reads the speed of each wheel) Magnetic speed sending unit installed inside the wheel bearings ( 1 at each wheel) The DSC/ABS unit/pump could be defective and beginning to fail. Not sure if the Foxwell 530 has this functionality but my Autel does. See if the Foxwell has the ability to read the speed for each wheel, I suspect there is a failure with 1 or more of the sensor/sending units that is failing to send the speed reading to the DSC unit which then triggers the ABS issues. |
