Longtime M owner here! Been on the forums since the early 2000's and I've continuously owned M cars since 2005. To date I've owned:

Silver Gray 2004 E46 M3
Mods - Wheels
Alpine White 2005 E46 M3
Mods - CSL goodies and some go fast stuff
Alpine White 2011 E92 M3 ZCP
Mods - ESS G1 supercharger and M Perf bits
Mint Green F82 M4 ZCP Individual
Mods - See below

And yet this is my first build journal. Why? I feel like this is the first car of mine that has really deserved one. It's a rare Individual and I decided to go all out, right from the start, and I mean right from the start. I've always had a tendency, for whatever reason, to start modding towards the end of my ownership, then sell maybe a year after. Not this time. The color is beyond eye catching, so I felt it needed the performance to back up the appearance, immediately.

Timeline:
Purchased - March 18, 2022

I case anyone is curious, yes, this car gets an insane amount of attention. Way more than I anticipated.

As soon as it was delivered I drove literally 1/2 block before someone stopped their car to yell "that's beautiful!". Drove about 3 miles, parked. A man came up to the car while I was still inside, knocked on the window and proceeded to ask me all about it. This all took place in the span of the first 15 minutes of ownership.

Once my car is back I’ve gotta see this in person! My buddy has an Imola F82 and I’ve got LRG, it would make for a great individual colors photo

Btw the only two things I’d highly recommend that aren’t listed on your mod list are:

- GTS Steering
- CS Damping (while you keep the stock ZCP dampers)

I view these as compulsory as they are such low hanging fruit (since they exist within your firmware) and how F8X should have came.

Love LRG! I'm sure you recognize that Henry mural since it's like 3 blocks from the car wash in your pic (and right by my home). haha.

Oh, I totally didn't know about the CS and GTS coding. Researched real quick and sounds like I need that CS damping asap with these bumpy H&Rs. Thanks!

Thanks! In my sleuthing I've been able to find a total of four F82 M4s and around the same F80 M3s in this color, in the world. There's likely a few more, but that's all I've been able to uncover.

Make sure those keys are aligned properly in their slots. I'm sure they are but double check.

Car is officially back home! Big thanks to Bimtech PNW for making this happen and doing things right. Start to finish in 2 weeks as well.

Time for logging and tuning.
