E93 Cabrio?

Now that the curtain has been lifted on the E-92 Coupe, how about compiling information concerning the E-93 Convertible Hardtop. The cabrio should make its debut in September, and be ready for SOP in the very early Spring - just in time for the 2007 Summer driving season. Any information would be welcome.

Thats pretty much all the information thats available. Its been spied with the hardtop fully uncovered, and recently with it down in California. So testing is definitely in high-gear. The development should be done by July, nothing much more to add.

Rumor is that the Cabrio will debut at the Paris Auto Show in September 2006.

Yes

E90/91 - Sedan/Touring
E92 - Coupe
E93 - Cabrio
M3

Heres hoping its lemon...

AND, more importantly, that they decide to make it AVAILABLE IN THE US! One thing, they are definitely ticking me off with is the limited selection of two-toned colors. It makes no freaking sense. They are, by definition, more sporty.

Some magazines are now speculating that the E-93 will be offered earlier than the spring of 2007 because BMW will lose momentum to the Volvo C-70 cabrio. I personally doubt this, but that is what the mags think.

Considering E92 335i weighs 3571lb and the convertible is usually >300lb heavier than the coupe, I figure the E93 is gonna be close to 4000lb ...

Hi all,

Any idea or guess how much more a 335 convertible will cost than a similarly-equipped 335 coupe? I have a 330 CIC right now and may get the E93 335 when it comes out.
