i know it's not a fun topic, but i believe that my car's main function is to take the hit for me and my family should it be necessary. i've read comments about how they're not as highly rated as they used to be - bmws in general. i'd appreciate your comments! thanks in advance to all your responses.

(*might* be looking at one for my wife.)

Early in it's life, my E91 was hit by a loose shopping cart. The repair bill was about $1000. Fortunately, no accidents with cars, trucks or SUVs.

I have my car parked alongside my daughter's Honda Accord coupe right now and was struck that the Accord seems to be significantly larger than the E91.

IIHS claims data seems to suggest that the E91 does OK in the real world.

E90 has saved my life. I don't think I could settle for any less than a BMW now. I'm fairly young so I'm happy that my car died and not me.

This question is inherently flawed because only the people who are still alive will be able to respond.

good point, lol. We need to see some kind of statistics involved with accidents at high speeds or a high speed impact with E90s and then look at the survival rates....

that would be a good help, and realistically one of the few ways to get the less biased answer.

any idle statisticians here on e90post?
