ive been thinking about the same thing. so i cant help but support, the things i love about the E9x's is the looks. its far better then the E46 which stuck with similar designs with the 90's models, were as the new models dont resemble the e46 that much which makes it look more dated, esp. when the F30 comes out

but if you dont care about looks or the fact that a 335 JB3 would rape against a stock M3 or even a tuned m3 (excluding the FI M3's) then i see no reason to not get one if you want somthing that is NA, quick, has great handing and can be a more fun to drive then the M3 is a cool idea

An E46 M3 was my other consideration when I was looking for a new car last year. I went with the 335i because it's easier to live with day to day, offers more comforts that make it a great daily driver, and on the street is just about as fast as an M3, but with much better torque

The M3 really is an event in itself to drive though, sent chills down my spin hearing that 3.2 wail up to 8000 rpm.

do you still have your warranty on the 335? the M3 will not have a warranty.

and like someone said, its much easier to tune the 335 than the M3

I want to get one and use it as a track car! That is my all time favorite car and I will buy one some day.
