Exclamation Car lock system problem--not locking, or opening

Something is terribly wrong with my e90 07 328i locking system. I can't seem to lock/unlock the car automatically with the remote control or the button inside the car. At first, I thought the remote lost its charge, so I put it inside and turned on the car for a while, but still no luck.

Pretty much, the locking system is unresponsive. The front passenger seat door doesn't unlock at all (even when I pull the door handle from the inside). However, the other doors unlock when I pull the door from the inside.

I'm not sure if this is a mechanical or electronic (or both) problem since when I press the lock button on the remote, the locks make a noise, but they just don't move up or down. Also, since the whole car's system is locked, I can't open the gas cover since it is locked. Does any one know how to open that manually? I'm running on only 20 miles worth of gas and its getting pretty serious.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

for the gas issue.... there may be a release inside the right trunk liner. behind it. remove the battery cover and poke around.

I did some research and found that I have to replace the actuators or something like that--means I have to go to the dealer. Any idea how much this could cost?

I believe I have warranty for another 10 years, but I'm just curious.
