Need recomendation about tint film and tint shop in SF bay area

Any suggestion on what kind of film to be used for tinting? Any good place to tint in the bay area? Preferrably near Sunnyvale.

Cool Bay Area tint shop

You may try giving a call to California Sunscreen in San Leandro or Auto Mall Tint in Fremont (same business). The owner knows BMW's and carries carbon, metallic, and ceramic. I am planning to go there in November when Euro delivery is completed.

I check them out. They seem to have good knowledge. But they are quite expensive.

Also, Huper Optik is a lot more expensive than others (like Suntek HP). Is it worth it. My tint purpose is to reject heat.

From what I have researched, the higher grade tints do a better job of letting in visible light but keeping out 99 percent UV and a higher percentage of the infared. You can compare the manufacturer specs of the metallic and ceramic tints against the dye or carbon tints for transmission across the spectrum, total heat rejection percentage, and decide whether the higher cost is worth it to you.
