run-flat tires

i have read that if the tire gets a punture you cant repair it you have to replace the whole tire. Is this true i hope not.

I heard it can be repaired but it won't have the same speed rating. Normal drivers it won't matter.

Manufacturers say run-flat tires should not be repaired, as you dont know what damage you have done to the sidewall.

According to goodyear you can fix theirs. I am not sure about the e90 ones. It would be a pisser that some tires can be repaired and some are not.

Well no tire, not even a normal one should be repaird if it was driven on while totally flat
