Newbie to Yuppmobile

My Grandkids think that I must be entering my second childhood since buying my first BMW. In fact it was because of their sugestions that I even looked at BMW after turning in my leased Subaru in December, I purchased a 2007 328i sedan and must say that I am enjoying this vehicle very much. I'm not sure that I like the run-flats but perhaps I will in the future. Unlike the Subaru which is a fine A to B car albeit funless, the BMW is such a pleasant car, I look forward to any occasion to use it. I would say that it is on par or better than my previous 2000 Saab 9-5 which was a fine vehicle.
I so much appreciate the e90post forums and the vast information and knowledge that is available to a newbie like me and while I am too old to work on my car, it is comforting to know that any questions I may have can find a helpful response from the many posters on this forum.
Many thanks and I look forward to happy motoring.

Welcome to the forum! I too am
A new BMW owner for the first time as of November 2012 I bought 2011 328is sedan with only 12,000 miles. Previously I've owned several cars: my first car was a 1989 Peugeot 505 turbo sedan 5-speed that I bought from my parents. I had that car all the way through college and I was t-boned and walked away and had 2 Nissan maximal and a recently traded in a 2003 Infiniti g35 for my BMW. Like u I've been around BMW's for about 20 years. In fact my parents still own their first BMW a 1988 M5 with only 44,000 miles on it. and have had 7 BMW's between that first car to date. Any how, I apologize for the long winded post....welcome to the forum. Are you planning any mods for your new member of your family? Me? I'm planning on putting a set of rims and looking to find a spoiler as well.

Yea everyone is helpful, but i am overwhelmed with all the information. I dont know where to begin, what sites to get parts from. The pre LCI/LCI thing gets me to. I search and find stuff then I realize i still dont know what ive gotten my self into. I was a Japanese car guy not moving into the world of German cars and im lost. so any little times tricks to get me started would be amazing. Little things i should know and or need to know. someone anyone. I just have so many questions.

I was intimidated at first cuz I knew nothing about the car except what I read online n stuff. I was constantly asking questions(dumb ones at that lol) ppl just told me to relax and enjoy the car so here I am having fun and learning at the same time
