Reset automatic transmission

Hey guys,

So over the summer I got a used 2009 328xi and I never reset the transmission. So now I am wondering if there would really be any noticeable difference at all.

Thanks so much!

You could manually reset it, or use your car normally and let it learn by itself.
My car took about 2-4 weeks to learn my style of driving

Thats the only way to do it other than at the dealership. There is a monthly thread on this and setting it yourself as described in that link is placebo. Does nothing according to BMW techs. Just drive the car and it will figure you out.

I tried this once 1-2 years ago with my car. It's a placebo, man. If a service manager and techs at a dealership didn't hear about and it's not in the manual it's only passed on from forum to forum... it's probably fake. You can reset the adaptations, but not by holding down the gas for 30 seconds.
