Image of F83 M4 Convertible in Estoril Blue? [Update: PHOTOSHOP]

Found this on a Dutch blog, screenshot taken from a German folder. Reportedly an M4 convertible in Estoril Blue.

BIMMERPOST ADDENDUM:

Some sites have been reporting the above image as a leaked official photo, but as you can see below, it's simply a photoshopped image of an official wallpaper image of the 435i Convertible (source) using styling elements from the M4 Concept. Hence the oddly angled front wheel.

The real M4 Convertible should not be much different than the photoshopped image however, as it will share exterior styling with the production M4 Coupe, which will adopt its styling from the M4 Concept.

San Marino Blue will be a nice option to have. Don't know if I like it as much as Interlagos Blue yet, but it is growing on me and very good regardless.

What's up with that front wheel? That whole image looks a bit... off.

That's a nice blue. Looks like San Marino, or Porsche's Sapphire Blue Metallic.

something about the new 4 convertible and the look in that image really annoys me but I can put my finger on what, something about like the entire car

Sure, it's possible this image was actually leaked from some source who is working on launch material for the F83 and also that the color seen on the car actually represents a color we'll see available in production. But its a fairy small pic and has clearly been heavily processed so there's not much here in the way of confirmation.

That said, it's still worth being publicized so thanks OP for posting.

Good point, by the way. I had not really considered the possibility of the M3 and M4 having different choices since they were the same for the E90/E92/E93 M3.

Looks pretty familiar to me

And the front wheel on the photoshop looks messed up because I'm sure the photoshopper couldn't find the exact correct angle of those wheels from another image to use.

It's definitely fake for the very reason the thread exists.

They won't start doing media until early 2014 with the car scheduled to launch in time for the Summer.

That looks like an M4 convertible only in the sense that all convertibles look vaguely alike, and its blue. Otherwise, the bodies aren't even remotely similar. That Sebring looks like a boat.

Ok Ok!! It was a joke and I agree that all blue convertibles look vaguely alike. I agree it is a boat and I see no masculinity in the car, but the BMW rendering did not do the car justice at all!!!!!
