I saw one yesterday, mw, dct, completely stock. Pulled in front of me when I was dying of a heat stroke in my Audi. that man would have at least violent diarrhea now if my generous thoughts about his car would be infectious.

...hope he has a dark interior then. But in his convertible, he can air the smell out quickly! Because it's wondrous, like a cotton candy unicorn. (sticking with the theme of the thread there)

I've never wanted a convertible, they all look like barbies shoe. A female driving one is just sad and the hats they wear are idiotic. Yesterday made me realize my solution of all windows down while the ac picks up is so much worse and the tears of envy are now flowing freely. Next stop in my process of growing up will be sunglasses. Maybe people who have a pair are humans too.

The Black Dakota Leather on my 2007 335i convertible was treated with sun reflective technology from the factory. It was very effective.
AFAIK the F83 interior also has it.

F83 looks great and I would love to have one. ..
Except you might not be able to track one depending on the track's rules regarding convertibles. Many tracks don't allow verts. And I plan on tracking my M |

My track club allows convertibles with rollover protection but I don't track the M4 as I have aceess to dedicated track cars.

Yeah the F83 is just sweet. Through a 6MT in there and you have the most engaging drive possible. Small price to pay for a slightly reduced lap/0-60 time.
Neck warmer is a nice little detail. With windows up, neck warmer on I can drive top down in ~55 degree weather and be perfectly comfortable. I generally prefer to get up at sunrise and hit the twisty roads early vs mid afternoon when it's 95. You feel a little bit of body flex when the top is down and you're driving hard, but it's very minor. Goes away altogether when you have the top up though. Only wish-for would be that the convertible top was carbon fiber - so it adds less weight. They could do that for sure, my guess is the volumes aren't high enough to justify.

I saw one parked at zupans. Wanted to ask where they got their clear bra done. Looked good and not very noticeable. Also sounded great as it drove by. Exhaust looked stock but wandered if they had dp's. Was that your car?
