If it is a CS, then no manual will be offered in order for BMW to keep it consistent with the M4.

Allowing only the DCT allows BMW to keep the performance numbers in-line as a top of range model.

Having said all that, I would spec it as a 6-speed if available and I were in the market for one.

The headlights being pre-F8X LCI is an interesting twist.

Are these photos new, or were they taken a while ago and just being released now?

It used to be that way over here too, but we're mainly DCT/ZF converts over here now.

Agree here. Definitely like the base , zcp, cs and CSL ... there just needs to be a little more 6MT in the mix. Hopefully they can redeem themselves with the M2 and perhaps if they make an M4 CSL they need to keep 6MT.
