The M5 ZCP is $7300. My guess is just below $5k ( $4900 ) for the M3 and that it will have the wheels shown shared with the GTS as was the case with the E9X M3. Then the black tips, slightly lowered suspension with re-calibrated EDC plus a power bump of ~25hp. Maybe also some steering tuning.
What about water injection? Will it be included on zcp?

Dude don't get me started on nightmare to clean wheels, You have't seen nightmare to clean until you have owned an M235i The rims were purposely designed to drive you mad and to top it of the brake pads where also designed to let loose so much dust from them, To make it look like you been to hell and back when going to the mall, I'm not even sure its even environmentally legal to have brake pads that release that much dust as they do

Exactly. My guess is they'll let you choose, just like on the M5
The choice is available with M5 Comp Pack?

Yup.. you can choose either the zcp or regular 343Ms on the M5 w/ comp. package.

The 666Ms don't look horrible in these pics but the concavity (or lack thereof) takes away from the design. Curious to see the weights of these wheels.

Wheels are still horrendous. Too bad it is attached to such a beauty of a vehicle.

Personally i think the wheels look decent, albeit an obvious JDM look which is i think why everyone here hates them LMAO

I love the divisiveness with the wheels! I really like them and think they bring back some of the 90's M styling while still keeping it modern. A lot of hate for em though They REALLY show off the rotors and brakes as well.

The option is left with the buyer on the M5/6. However, on the F1X, the CP 601M wheels are in fact a performance downgrade being heavier non-forged wheels of the exact same size (diameter and width) as the 20" 343M base wheel. It make we wonder what BMW was thinking with those. From a performance point if view, one is better off the with the base 343M 20" wheel on the M5/6.

I am eager to read more about the spec of these 666M wheels. If they are indeed stronger and lighter despite their greater width and diameter (rear), I might consider them even if I am not quite in love with their look.

If those wheels come with the competition pack and they can't be opted out then I'll still get the comp pack and do a straight trade for the stock black 19's. If I can find someone that wants them!

I thought that these wheels were just a concept. They are extremely ugly in my opinion.

They are already experimenting with it, but I don't know when they'll make it available

It's certainly a possibility. You couldn't do it on the E9x, but you can with the current M5/6. So I don't see why you couldn't opt for the current 19" wheels.

Interesting. I didn't realize that the 601M wheels were heavier than the stock 343M wheels. Funny but the 601M and 666M share the same non-concave look, and have definitely divided the enthusiasts.

I'd be hesitant to commit to a 20" wheel on a F8x, even if just on the rear. Yeah, I know "lots" of folks run 20", but to me I think you're risking giving up a fair amount of comfort on a daily driver.

Agreed. Not to mention the cost of tires go way up. I think 19" are the perfect size for the car.

Unless the ZCP comes with modifications to the steering system and bushings like on the M5/6, I wouldn't be too interested myself. I'd be completely happy with the stock 18" too actually.

I think it would be more likely to get suspension and exhausts mods, first, on a Competition Package. But obviously no one can rule out steering/bushings.

For the E92 M3, I was 100% committed to the ZCP. Although I've already made my choice not to wait on the F80, I see a lot of things that re-affirm my decision not to wait on a ZCP, and (high) cost could be another one.

I think that CF wheels make more sense for BMW to introduce on the i5, or the G80, or next-Gen M3.

Even on the E92, I didn't think it was a must have option. The car still sat too high for my taste, I go Euro MDM coded (which is more extreme than US ZCP MDM) and the wheels, while beautiful, were heavy and not wide enough.

Frankly, I'd be surprised if they played around with the steering system mechanically because it's already pretty damn good. If it's just slightly lowered, wheels, exhaust tips and retuned MDM, then I'll save my money and put it towards the Fire Orange paint

Maybe on the M4 CSL that Scott keeps talking about?

I dont think its too complicated, I would bet that the next series of engines from BMW will all be water injected, as there are some advantages, but nearly no disadvantages. I think its the exclusivity that is key here. As an M4 GTS driver you wouldn't want to see someone driving the same engine configuration as you, which paid 30-40k less.
